The mind is a chasm that separates day life and aspired life.
The day life is filled with entities and words, such as occupation, Palestine, U.N, Knesset, Arabs…etc. The aspired life is of goodness, kindness, philanthropy, freedom, salvation and inner happiness. The fission is unbridgeable. It is easier to think in two parts of the brain, one I am tired from occupation I would turn to the soothing idea that the future will be better. I will build a more solid base to hold the unknown future. I will not fear the idea of losing him for he cannot afford to provide me with a palliative assurance that we will have a future together, nor the audacity to lie about it. the cushion, that is God, fills the gap and links the mind[s]. I lack that cushion and the accompanied comfort. My two banks of mind long for union. Gaza and the West Bank. The promise for unity is always on the horizon and some smugglers dig in between or fly above. At least it keeps things interesting, and keeping things interesting seems to pave the base for the creation of the mind.
